The Marathon of Sofia
We have been organizing and managing it since 1993. In 2018 in the different competitions in it took part over 5000 people from 35 countries from Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. The Marathon of Sofia is a part of a series of marathons under the slogan “Running – A Way of Life”. Part of it are also the Marathon of Stara Zagora, the Marathon of Varna, The International Running Ruse-Giurgiu and the running event Nikulden – Burgas. The Marathons are carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Sofia Municipality, Municipality Stara Zagora, Municipality Varna, the Bulgarian Olympic Committee, the Bulgarian Athletic Association.
In 2018 a delegate of the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) Mr. Carlos Cardoso inspected the course and the organization of the event. After that, Wizz Air Sofia Marathon received a Bronze Label status by IAAF and has a new course. Most of the course runs over the heart of Sofia, throughout most of the city’s historical sights.
Also since 2019, Wizz Air Sofia Marathon is a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races and Abbott World Marathon Majors in the qualifying race Wanda Age Group Qualifier.
In 2019 the 36th edition of the event broke some of its own records attracting more than 5500 participants, including more than 800 from more than 51 countries.
The Amateur Football Tournament Kamenitsa Fancup
It has been organized for 16 years and is the most mass and popular amateur football tournament in Bulgaria. Annually in it take part around 20 000 participants from all over the country. The competitions start with preliminary rounds in all the 28 regional towns, after that there are 10 semi-final zone tournaments in the 10 biggest towns. The campaign ends with national finals in which participate the zone winners. Partners: the municipalities in the different towns.
Mini Football Albena Cup
We have been organizing for 8 years the annual mini football tournament Albena Cup with the participation of the best mini football teams in Bulgaria. The tournaments provide the best conditions and the biggest money prize in such tournaments in Bulgaria. Partner: Albena Ltd.
Sport Day of the employees from the energetic companies in Bulgaria
We have been organizing and carrying out a Sport Day for the employees from the energetic companies in Bulgaria for 11 consecutive years. Over 800 participants compete in 16 sports: mini football, volleyball, beach volleyball, table tennis, chess, bridge, tennis, darts, tug of war, swimming, basketball (3×3), athletics, shooting, badminton, backgammon and petanque. SPORT GAMES OF THE ENERGETIC COMPANIES FROM SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE
SPORT GAMES OF THE ENERGETIC COMPANIES FROM SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE. We organized these Games for a second time in Albena and over 300 people took part. Participants from Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Bosna and Herzegovina and Macedonia competed in 10 sports: mini football, tennis, beach volleyball, athletics, basketball (3×3), swimming, table tennis, chess, darts and golf. URBANATHLON
We have organized the first Urbanathlon in Bulgaria in partnership with Sofia Municipality. In the Bulgarian version of the legendary urban survival competition took part over 600 participants from all over Bulgaria. The distance between the start and the final was 6.8 km. Throughout the route of the Urbanathlon were placed 8 hurdles through which the athletes had to pass.
SPORT DAY OF THE METALLURGISTS IN BULGARIA
For 15th consecutive year we organized a Sport Day for the Metallurgists in Bulgaria. Each year over 150 participants from all over Bulgaria compete in Albena in 9 sports: mini football, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, bridge, chess, petanque, tug of war and swimming. PLAY SPORTS IN YOUR TOWN
PLAY SPORTS IN YOUR TOWN. For a 5th consecutive year we organized this national sport program in Pleven, Ruse, Burgas, Varna, Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil, Sofia and Albena in partnership with the local municipalities. The participants compete in 3 sports: athletics – running, cycling and basketball (3×3) and the events are located in the centers of the towns. Last year took part over 8000 athletes and thousands supported them from the stands. The national sport program “Play Sport in Your Town” has the aim to make popular and to stimulate the active sport practicing of the people in their free time as well as the health care and the good physical condition.
SPORT CAMP FOR YOUR CHILD BY PROCTER & GAMBLE
SPORT CAMP FOR YOUR CHILD BY PROCTER & GAMBLE. We organized a one-week camp in Albena devoted to the Olympic Games 2012 in which took part over 100 students from all over Bulgaria. The children learnt the main Olympic values and got to know the 5 main sports: basketball, volleyball, mini football, athletics, and swimming. We showed them how to lead better life via sport and they grasped the main Olympic rules which are part of the Olympic spirit. Partner: Albena Ltd.

SPORT GAMES OF EUROVISION. Due to our past experience Eurovision granted to us the whole organization and conduction of the Summer Sport Games of Eurovision in Bulgaria – in 2007 in Plovdiv and I 2004 in Albena. Over 600 participants – representatives from the national televisions of Austria, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, France and Spain competed in 9 sports.
